Why Some Products Are Reduced Right Now – Fragrance Reformulation Update

You may have noticed a selection of products currently reduced on my website, so I wanted to explain exactly why in simple, honest terms.

Some fragrance oils used across the home fragrance industry are being reformulated ahead of upcoming 2027 regulation changes. This means manufacturers are updating certain scent formulas so they continue to meet future selling requirements.

First and most importantly: there is nothing unsafe or dangerous about products already made with the current formulas. These products have been made and sold within current regulations, and remain perfectly fine to use and enjoy. This is simply a future compliance update, not a panic situation.

So what does this mean for my shop?

I still have some stock of the current formula oils, and while that stock lasts, I’ll continue making products with them at discounted prices as part of a clearance event.

Once those oils are used up, any scents I reorder will be purchased in their new reformulated versions, and products made with those updated oils will return to their normal full price.

In short:

✨ Current formula stock = discounted while it lasts
✨ Same lovely scents where possible
✨ Future compliant updated formulas coming in gradually
✨ Nothing to worry about with existing products

This is simply my way of being transparent with you, reducing waste, and passing savings on while I transition stock sensibly.

I am currently working through using up all of any old formulation oils I have, and will update the sale once these extra products are made. I will list below the oils I have, so that if you want to pre order at SALE prices, you can contact me on WhatsApp or email lisa@itsmelisag.co.uk . 

As mentioned above, once my old formulation oils have been used, products will be back to full price using the new formulations.
