A simple, practical two-part reusable filament spool / spool adapter designed for FDM 3D printing.
The spool consists of just two screw-together parts, keeping assembly simple with no loose screws, pins or extra hardware required.
Perfect for filament refills, respooling projects or anyone who needs a reusable 200mm spool.
🧵 Designed For
This adaptor was designed around my 0.5 kg filament spools measuring approximately:
170 mm outer diameter × 49.33 mm wide × 52 mm centre hole
The complete original 0.5 kg spool sits inside the two-piece 200 mm adaptor, allowing the smaller spool to run at the larger diameter.
Please measure your own spool before printing, as 0.5 kg spool dimensions can vary between manufacturers.
