Tool shelf: approx. 85mm diameter × 4mm thick

Tool shelf holes:
10mm
12mm

Main lid holder:
Approx. 97mm outside diameter
Approx. 85mm clear internal diameter

Removable insert:
Approx. 83mm diameter base

The holder was developed for cup/tumbler-sized lids rather than large bowl-sized lids. The 85mm clear holder area and adjustable clamp provide flexibility for different lid sizes and profiles.

Please compare the measurements with the lids you intend to use before purchasing, as tumbler lid dimensions and shapes vary between manufacturers.

🔩 Adjustable Lid Clamp

The lid holder uses a modelled M10 × 1.5 threaded clamp system.

Insert the clamp screw from inside the holder, attach the knob to the outside and turn the knob to move the pressure pad in or out until your lid is held securely.

The centre sections use M14 × 2 screw-together joints, so there are no separate nuts or bolts required for normal assembly.

🧩 Easy Assembly

  1. Drop the tool shelf over the lower pole.
  2. Screw the upper pole onto the lower section to secure the shelf.
  3. Screw the lid holder onto the top of the stand.
  4. Use the main holder as it is, or add the removable insert if suitable for your lid.
  5. Feed the clamp screw through the holder from the inside.
  6. Screw the knob onto the outside end.
  7. Turn the knob to adjust the holder to your lid.

The stand can be taken apart again for storage.

🖨️ PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

A good starting point is:

Material: PLA
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.20mm
Walls: 3
Infill: Around 15–20%

PETG can also be used if you prefer a slightly tougher workshop/crafting tool.

Important – threaded parts

For the intended thread fit, I recommend printing the parts at 100% scale.

Good printer calibration is particularly important for the M10 clamp and M14 pole threads.

If your printer tends to produce a heavy first-layer squish, using your normal elephant-foot compensation can help prevent the bottom edge of threaded components becoming too tight.

Always check your sliced Preview before printing.
