Thank you for choosing It’s Me Lisa G. Our sensory products are created for busy hands, curious minds and moments when a little extra regulation is needed.
Please follow the guidance below to help keep your item safe and in good condition.
Suitable Use
Our sensory items are intended for normal handheld fidgeting and gentle sensory play.
Do not deliberately pull components apart, twist them beyond their normal movement, bend them forcefully, throw them or use them for any purpose other than indended.
Colour and Pattern Differences
The appearance of multicoloured, gradient and colour-changing prints will naturally vary.
The colours visible in each item depend on the position of the filament on the reel when it is printed. This means your product will be unique and may not have exactly the same colour placement as the listing photographs.
Age Suitability and Supervision
Age recommendations differ between products, so always check the individual product listing before use.
Where applicable, products will display the following warning:
Warning: Not suitable for children under 36 months. Small parts. Choking hazard.
Responsible adult supervision is recommended, particularly for users who may mouth items, use excessive force or have limited awareness of risk.
These products are not chew toys and must not be bitten, sucked or placed in the mouth.
Small and Moving Components
Some designs contain moving, removable or small components.
Keep them away from children below the stated age recommendation and out of reach of pets.
Stop using the product immediately if any component becomes:
- Loose or detached;
- Cracked, split or warped;
- Sharp, damaged or excessively worn.
Mouthing and Sensory Safety
Some children and adults may continue to mouth objects beyond the age of three. This may be connected to sensory-seeking behaviour, development, disability or additional support needs.
Our 3D-printed sensory products are not designed to be placed in the mouth, chewed or bitten.
Where mouthing is likely, please choose a purpose-made chew product manufactured specifically for oral use.
Inspect Before Each Use
Check the product before use and regularly during its lifetime.
Pay particular attention to moving parts, joins, buttons and raised decorative details. Do not continue using an item where its safety or condition may have been affected.
Cleaning Instructions
Unless the individual listing states otherwise:
- Wipe external surfaces using a soft, slightly damp cloth;
- Use a soft, dry brush carefully around small gaps where necessary;
- Dry the item thoroughly before it is used again.
Do not soak, immerse, place under running water or put the product in a dishwasher. Avoid solvents, strong chemicals and abrasive cleaning products.
Heat and Storage
3D-printed items can soften or change shape when exposed to excessive heat.
Keep the product away from:
- Radiators and heaters;
- Hot surfaces;
- Hot vehicles;
- Prolonged strong sunlight;
- Windowsills where temperatures may become high.
Store indoors in a clean, dry place.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, small layer lines and minor surface variations may be visible. These are a normal part of the manufacturing process and make every item slightly unique.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and available filament batches.
Please check all spelling carefully. As this item is made specifically to your requirements, changes cannot be made once production has started and we do not accept returns or offer refunds on personalised items.
Not suitable for children under 4 years due to small parts. Adult supervision is recommended.
CE, UKCA and Toy Safety Compliance
At It’s Me Lisa G, product safety is considered throughout the design, manufacture, testing and sale of our 3D-printed toys and sensory products.
We are the manufacturer of our finished products. This means that we are responsible for assessing each toy, confirming that it meets the applicable legal safety requirements and maintaining the supporting technical documentation.
Where one of our products displays a CE or UKCA conformity marking, this confirms that we have completed the applicable conformity-assessment process and have declared that the product meets the relevant essential safety requirements.
A CE marking is a manufacturer’s legal declaration of conformity. It is not a general quality badge or an indication that every product has been individually approved by an external organisation. Toy manufacturers may demonstrate conformity through self-verification using applicable harmonised standards or, where required, through third-party examination by an approved conformity-assessment body.
Our compliance process
Before a toy is approved for sale, we:
- Complete a documented safety and risk assessment;
- Consider its intended age group and reasonably foreseeable use or misuse;
- Assess physical, mechanical, chemical, flammability and hygiene hazards;
- Identify the standards and legal requirements applicable to the product;
- Review the materials and components used;
- Carry out or obtain appropriate testing and supporting evidence;
- Prepare and retain a technical file;
- Issue the applicable Declaration of Conformity;
- Provide product identification, traceability information, warnings and instructions;
- Ensure that production items continue to match the assessed and tested design.
EU guidance requires toy manufacturers to consider chemical, physical, mechanical, electrical, flammability, hygiene and radioactivity hazards, to prepare technical documentation and to issue an EC Declaration of Conformity before applying the CE mark.
3D-printed product controls
Our 3D-printed toys are manufactured using controlled production specifications. Depending on the product, these records may include:
- The exact filament manufacturer, material range and colour;
- Printer and nozzle used;
- Layer height;
- Wall and shell settings;
- Infill percentage and pattern;
- Print orientation;
- Component supplier and model;
- Adhesive type and curing method;
- Assembly and inspection procedures.
The sample used for assessment and testing must represent the items subsequently offered for sale. Material, component or construction changes are reviewed to determine whether further assessment or testing is required.
Personalisation, such as a different name or colour, does not automatically change the approved construction. However, new shapes, projections, decorative features, materials or components may require additional assessment before they are offered.
Standards and testing
Testing is selected according to the construction and identified hazards of each product. This may include relevant parts of:
- EN 71-1, mechanical and physical properties;
- EN 71-2, flammability;
- EN 71-3, migration of certain elements;
- Other applicable material, chemical or product-specific requirements.
Testing may be completed using documented in-house procedures where legally appropriate, supported by supplier reports and independent laboratory testing where required.
Passing one test or obtaining a certificate for one material does not by itself demonstrate conformity of the finished toy. All relevant materials, components, construction methods and foreseeable hazards must be considered together.
Materials and components
We retain available supporting documents for the materials and components used. These may include:
- Laboratory test reports;
- EN 71-3 reports;
- REACH and SVHC declarations;
- Material specifications;
- Supplier declarations;
- Safety and technical data sheets;
- Component identification and purchase records.
Supplier evidence is checked to ensure that it relates to the exact material, colour, model or product range being used. Where suitable evidence is unavailable, further assessment or testing may be required.
Age grading and warnings
Each product is age-graded according to its design, function, construction and identified hazards.
Warnings and instructions are provided where necessary and may include information concerning:
- Small parts and choking hazards;
- Mouthing and chewing;
- Supervision;
- Inspection before use;
- Cleaning;
- Heat exposure;
- Damaged or loose components.
Warnings are supplementary safety measures. They are not used as a replacement for safe design, suitable materials or required testing.
Ongoing production and monitoring
Compliance does not finish when the first product passes assessment. We maintain production records and inspect finished items to confirm that they remain consistent with the approved specification.
We also review:
- Customer feedback and complaints;
- Reports of damage or component failure;
- Changes in suppliers or materials;
- Changes to relevant standards or legislation;
- Any need for corrective action, withdrawal or recall.
Manufacturers and other economic operators are required to act where they have reason to believe a product is not compliant or may present a safety risk. Technical documentation and Declarations of Conformity must also be retained and made available to enforcement authorities when required.
CE and UKCA markings
For products placed on the market in Great Britain, current rules permit applicable toys to use either the CE marking or UKCA marking, provided the requirements associated with the chosen conformity route have been met. Products placed on the EU or Northern Ireland markets require the appropriate CE-based route.
The marking may appear on the product, its label, packaging or accompanying information where permitted by the relevant rules.
